Hope Homeschool Connections Project-based Learning

Our goal for Hope Homeschool Connections is to provide a safe learning opportunity for homeschool families, non-traditional students, and 4-day week students to connect in small groups through academic and social opportunities as a supplement to their learning. This program is a “drop and go” format where students participate in a full day of engaging learning each week. Connections days will be filled with STEM challenges, small group project-based learning tasks, social and emotional growth opportunities, and movement.

Email breland@cdahope.com to learn about upcoming PBL themes and projects that we have planned

Social Emotional Learning Opportunities

Our social emotional learning program focuses on self-regulation and self-awareness. 1:1 sessions are guided by respect, empowerment through choices, and nurturing accountability for learning and work ethic. Constant communication with families helps guide the session topics and provides valuable reflection time for the child.

Safe and Non-Distracting Behavior: Students must maintain safe, respectful, and non-distracting behavior during all sessions. Disruptive behavior that negatively impacts the learning environment or other students may result in removal from the program.

Additionally, parents and students must treat Hope Education Consulting Service staff respectfully. Disrespectful behavior towards staff (including from parents) may result in the removal of the student from the program, depending on the severity of the situation. This decision will be made at the sole discretion of Hope Education Consulting.

Photography and Recording: Hope Education Consulting Service may capture photos or recordings of students during sessions for promotional or educational purposes. You may opt to refuse permission for photos or videos of your child if you choose.

Changes to Terms and Conditions: Hope Education Consulting Service reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Parents will be notified of any changes in advance.

Notification must be received digitally and can be emailed to honey@cdahope.com with a request to be released from your semester commitment. Payment is required until the 30 days are up.*

*Hope Education Consulting (HEC) is not an intensive behavioral intervention agency. HEC is an academic and social-emotional learning center. HEC students must be able to follow safety directions given by staff including, but not limited to: using a safe body in the building, not running throughout HEC, staying in the assigned work area, not attempting to elope (run) from the premise, using a voice volume that doesn’t interfere with other student learning (yelling or loud work refusals), and not displaying any violent or physical actions towards staff and students (throwing items, hitting staff, kicking staff, or other physical acts of aggression towards other children or staff present). The safety of all students at HEC is our priority and primary concern.*
